Bole Children's Orphanage
Bole Children's Orphanage

The organization was founded In 1963 E.C by Mrs. Desta Gebur and her sister, who was a soldier's wife. Although the purpose of its establishment is to raise those who lost their parents due to war
When there was a change of government, the organization was given the name "Gwale Mautan" by the President Mengistu H/ Maryam, and the organization was strengthened. One of the reasons for this name was to commemorate those who lost their families in the Somali war and were displaced due to drought. After the change of government again, when (EHADIG) came in, the name of the organization was changed and it was named as Bole Children's Orphanage. Shortly after, in 1989, it was decided to dissolve the organization by order of the government.
After that, the organization we were in used to serve as a boarding school, where ethnic groups from different parts of our country were used for education.
